The Italian Cultural Institute in Addis Ababa shares the compound with the Italian School and offers a very big parking area.

It is situated after the commercial zone known as “Piazza”, more precisely after the well known Orthodox church St. George on the road that leads to Gojam region.

In order to reach the Institute taxi drivers take as reference the Semien Hotel which is located very near to our compound. Other indications, like “Italian Institute or Italian School” which may result difficult to the taxi driver could lead to the Italian Embassy which is very far from the Institute.

Public Transport:

City bus n° 80-6-30-9-44 are not recommended.

Collective Taxi: (minibus and “Lada” white and blue color): from “Piazza”
to the way to “Addisu Gabaia” but stopping at Semien Hotel.

Taxi (“Lada” white and blue color): ask the destination of Semien Hotel.
Before starting discuss and agree the price and the currency of the trip.
